I thought I was food at first so I wiped with with a warm face clothes but it would rip his fur off because of how stuck it is. What is this and how can I help him? He lives with another male guinea pig a little older but could that affect it?

Hi and welcome!

Have you considered that it could be very likely 'boar glue' (i.e. dried semen fluid)? Boars do stick their noses 'down there' to rummage around and not rarely end up with it on their nose or the face.

I think you need a vet to diagnose. It could be chellitius but I don't think that usually appears under the chin first. Ringworm is another possibility though usually the scabs are bloody from scratching. At the same time there is no visible hole for an abscess or cyst

Hahaha yes the only thing I didn't consider when posting. It doesn't look sore so perhaps boar glue is the answer :yikes:
