Am looking to get some tubular heating installed into an outdoor loglap shed where three Guinea Pigs will live. I'll have a thermostat connected to regulate the heat but have questions:

Can anyone tell me the minimum heat requirement for Guinea Pigs to live comfortably? Also - how would I know how powerful the tubes should be? From what I gather, 1 foot tubes are about 60W. The shed is 5 x 3 (feet).

Anyone any idea?

Thanks

Roz

Hello Roz
Welcome to the forum:)
My shed is heated with a convector heater on a thermostat during the winter months and is set at 16c. It is very expensive to run though. I also have also lined my shed roof and sides with thermo insulation foil to keep the heat in. Works a treat not sure about the tubelar heaters hopefully someone else on here can.
