Trying To Change Layout

Hi everyone. As most of you know my boys are free range but still have their C&C. To be honest they spend the majority of their time in it too. It is 4x2 grids with a 1x2 loft with bunk bed.

I am wanting to update this as I am bored of seeing it and they must be too. I can make it 3x4 on the bottom but I'm stuck for ideas for the top level. I would love for them to have more space for their wooden log toys and hay as I find it a bit of a tight squeeze. Totally confused here!

Could you possibly expand the bottom level and get rid of the upper level all together?

could you go L shaped? I actually don't think that they get bored like we do, especially if they are free range like your lucky boys

There's no option for L-shaped unfortunately @Goth Mummy

Maybe I should just keep it the way it is since they like it..

There's no harm in trying any new ideas you may have as you could always change it back afterwards if your piggies are not enjoying it. Whenever I've had a loft in my boys cage I've found the ramp takes up to much space on the lower level (maybe my ramp is to BIG) however in saying that, they just seem to sit, eat and lay in the loft waiting for food and ignore the rest of their cage, So I took the ramp and loft out and they went back to playing and running around, but all piggies are different
