Trusted boarding options in North London/Herts?

We're going to be away over Christmas and are looking for a trusted boarding place for our two girls. Within about half an hour drive from the Whetstone area would be ideal.

Feeling nervous about picking a service off of the web, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Have a look at: The Rodent Ranch
It's a few minutes walk from New Barnet station in North London. I left Biscuit and Toffee there for a few days last month. I was really nervous as I'd never used a boarding place before and didn't know what to expect but I was delighted with the way they were looked after and would be happy to use them again.
