Junior Guinea Pig
hey all
I posted earlier about a abscess on speedys chin think I know the issue as I witnessed it!
Archie speedys brother mounted speedy, chased him about, lots of noise! I saw fang the oldest piggy stop Archie.
Speedy & Archie are around 14 months think Fangs more on the 16 month mark.
Archie wouldn't leave speedy alone! Kept on creeping & mounting! I stopped him quite a number of times! I have the 3 a bonding bath which speedy & fang stayed together while Archie was the other side alone...this aggravated the situation later!
So after this eve I've separated Archie completely in a different room for him to have a cool down.
Any tips how long I should separate for? Speedys on bayril for 10 days in hope his infection settles down, was adviced not to separate him from his cage mates.
Do I just give them a bonding bath, clean & nuteralise everything? Try again? Would of thought would be over the dominating faze as such I do have a doe bunny rabbit unfixed currently on top of their cage (don't ask she was out doors till one of my dogs had a huge interest in her ) not the best situation currently but trying to work it the best I can.
