hey all

I posted earlier about a abscess on speedys chin think I know the issue as I witnessed it!

Archie speedys brother mounted speedy, chased him about, lots of noise! I saw fang the oldest piggy stop Archie.
Speedy & Archie are around 14 months think Fangs more on the 16 month mark.
Archie wouldn't leave speedy alone! Kept on creeping & mounting! I stopped him quite a number of times! I have the 3 a bonding bath which speedy & fang stayed together while Archie was the other side alone...this aggravated the situation later!

So after this eve I've separated Archie completely in a different room for him to have a cool down.

Any tips how long I should separate for? Speedys on bayril for 10 days in hope his infection settles down, was adviced not to separate him from his cage mates.
Do I just give them a bonding bath, clean & nuteralise everything? Try again? Would of thought would be over the dominating faze as such I do have a doe bunny rabbit unfixed currently on top of their cage (don't ask she was out doors till one of my dogs had a huge interest in her ) not the best situation currently but trying to work it the best I can.

Illness, separation, changes of cage and hormonal spikes can cause problems even with adult boars.

Please take the time to read this guide here: Boars: Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?
Don't push the issue right now to give all parties time to settle down. Accept that with the illness or absence of a group member the hierarchy can change and this can be expressed in hormone spikes and strong dominance behaviour.

Think I did the right thing taking Archie out of the situation? Rather than speedy that's poorly? Speedy & Archie used to be very bonded fang was a menace not in a bad way but he liked to be boss. I had issues not that long ago with fang & a fusion bead stuck to his bottom two teeth (was misdiagnosed by a vet for a infection is his bottom gum) ... he's been fine since I took the bead off everything was at harmony then this Kind of shocked! Think Archie has took his fangs place. Fang never hurt any of his cage mates
