Hello!
We have recently welcomed two new beautiful long haired guinea pig boars into our family.
We've had gorgeous Abyssinian rosette boys before so never had to trim them.
We've noticed that these ones seem to get more things (pieces of hay and chipping) caught in their bottom.
What advice would you give us for trimming their hair?
Many thanks in advance!

Thank you Betsy, I'll have a look at it now!

Welcome

My long haired boy Finn does complain a lot and hair cut doesn't come out right either. However, I do keep him trimmed using this tunnel. When he goes in this tunnel, I can see his bum and able to cut his bum hair while he munches on coriander, parsley, mint and etc.
He doesn't move out of his tunnel when eating so I can cut all his bum hair so his bum hair doesn't get matted.
For the rest of his body hair, I put him in a plastic container and manage to cut a little here and there while he walks around complaining.
