Should I trim Charlies hair around his bum area because it gets dirty a lot and when he is on wooden floors hepee's and it rolls back into the hair :o:o:o

I would I had to trim Milo's today. Actually I gave him the layered look all over, he is a coronet. He looks well smart now! i would trim as it can get mattered and pull on the skin which isn't very comfortable for them. :)

I have to do that with one of my girls, although I'm not the best piggy hairdresser in the world.

hair cut

i would trim his hair when we had rosie we use to use hair clippers and trimmed hair that way, so quick and easy.to trim private area have your sister hold him whilst you trim him as piggies are little wigglers:)p:)p:)p
good luck with it.:rose:rose:rose

I would suggest trimming the hair around his bottom short and on a regular basis.

Obviously be very careful ... be mindful of his "manly" areas and also his nipples. I always pop my finger over the delicate areas while I am cutting just in case.

I am afraid long-haired breeds do need trimming often to keep them clean and tidy, but in my opinion their personalities out-weighs the time and effort on the hairdressing department!
