Has anyone used or know anything about this drug please?

We're going to try this on Duke for his pneumonia.
sorry i started a new thread but really wanted it to be about the drug :)
 
Hi Glynis. I have never heard of it before. I have just looked it up and it is an antibiotic similar to Bactrim but I have no experience in using it. Sorry xxxxxxxx

No sorry i do not know anything about that drug, ahve you searched the net?

i feel way more relieved to know that it has been used in piggies and so far no real bad reactions PHEW
 
I also have never heard of the drug, but obviously you have now got lots of information from the links above.

Bactrin is co-trimoxazole,the other name for it is Septrin.Septrin is in fact the drug of choice for respitory and urinary infections.
Bactrin and Septrin are both trade names for the same generic drug.

Bactrin is made by Roche and Septrin by Wellcome.

Have just heard from Glynis. She has been unable to get back on the computer tonight, I guess one of the kids has taken it over! Anyway Dukey has had his medicine ok and he has eaten some food, so all looking fine so far.

I so hope this works for the little guy. He's such a fighter!
