Has any one ever traveled a long distance with piggies?

I am moving into my new house in two weeks it's awesome. But it's a 14 hour drive. I am bring 15 guinea pigs with me. What is the least stressful way to transport piggies. We will be traveling 7 hours then staying at a hotel over night and driving 7 hours the next day. Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure whatever you carry them in dose not have tons of extra space like just enough so the pigs are comfortable but not to much that they can get hurt also make sure that whatever you carry them In dose not move around to much as that can stress pigs out make sure it's somewhere nice and secure.

I used to do a six hour trip with four of mine. They were in a 80cm plastic bottomed cage with cucumber, grass and hay. They had two big hidies to take cover under. After a few miles on the motorway/freeway they would venture out of the hidies to stretch their legs. I didn't use a water bottle as they tend to empty themselves on car journeys, wet veggies and cucumber will give them plenty of water.

I've not had to travel that far when I moved, it was about 20 minutes away, but I wanted to say that I hope everything goes well with your move and that you all get to your new home safely :)

What I have set up in my SUV is I put a three by three grid cage up. It fits perfect and it's snug so won't move around and I sectioned it off into three 1 by two sections and one three by one section. I can put all my girls and babies in there and then I have a carrier for my two boars. I will start putting them in there every day to get use to it.
