Hey forum! Hope you are well where ever you are in the world. I need help. My mom is choosing to go to Nigeria at the worst time possible literally before school starts and I have absolutely no idea what to do with Coco, Teddy, and Baby Luna and their humongous cage. The person who takes care of them usually just got snakes in their basement so the pigs will come with me to my grandmothers house where ill stay for two weeks. Also I need cleaning advice and packing advice. STRESS down below is their humongous cage

Is it possible for the person to come to your house to check on them? Or is it possible to find another pet sitter in your area?

With regards cleaning, poo pick daily and change hay every 1-2 days. Then a full clean every 5-7 days depending how mucky your piggies are.

Think about what you do with their care on a daily basis then write a list of what you need - feeding, bedding, hides etc. Then you can tick off as you pack.

May I ask how you ended up with a pup? Is it a result of Teddy? Am I right in assuming she was (unknowingly) pregnant when you got her? If so, and you got her from a pet shop, you are within your rights to go and ask them for support - bedding, cage, hay etc.

How old is the pup and how much does (s)he weigh? Have you tried to sex pup yet?

Hello, @Siikibam thank you so much for replying. It isn't possible for the person to come to my house and check on them because they work every day and I don't really trust them coming to the house when I'm not there and checking on my pigs.. I'm all the way in New York but I'll do some digging for a pet sitter. So in the picture, you will see Coco(Big Grey and White Pig) and Luna(The tiny guinea pig drinking water), Teddy is her mom who is hiding and was with a boy before I received her from one of my mothers' coworkers.

Could you purchase a smaller cage to take with you? While not ideal, a smaller cage will be fine for a couple of weeks or perhaps house them in a play pen (a pop up dog pen for example) Have a look on Amazon and eBay

Hey @Claire W . We have ordered a table and I think a play pen for them but it won't arrive in time.
