Junior Guinea Pig
Hi. I am desperately looking for a suitable roomy travel cage for my pigs when visiting the vet. Can anyone advise me? Thank you
Hi, I'm sorry to butt in but as you say piggies don't travel far? My older sister had two boys that loved traveling, she lives in Bedford & my mum lives in bleasby Nottinghamshire (a good 1.5ish hrs distance) when my sister comes to visit she brings them with her, they love it. Just thought I'd share that.In that case, any cat carrier will do for 1-2 guinea pigs not travelling far

I'm sorry if I sounded off. The more piggies travel the more they get used to it, I have 2 ladies, Panda and Marble, they haven't really travelled that far as they haven't needed to, I got them last year from a local farm, they were about 6 months old but turned 1 on Dec 31st. They have a small pet carrier. Again I hope I didn sound rude. XxYes, as @Piggies&buns says, I just meant in this case any cat carrier will be fine as the guinea pigs aren’t travelling far. I have 4 piggies who travel to the vets in a large cat carrier as the vets is only a 10-15 minute drive away where as when they are travelling a further distance, I prefer for them to travel in a small travel cage so they have more room but yes, guinea pigs generally travel well

Don't no how to?Welcome to the forum @T146
Questions are always welcome.
I suggest you start a separate thread unless your question is about travel carriers.
That way it won’t get overlooked
