Travel and hay

Hi! Guinea pigs are going to the vet tonight for their check up and since the last time we have got a new carrier. I was wondering what I should put the hay in for the journey. I would put it on the floor but one pees quite a lot and may do it on the hay and stop them eating it.

If it’s just a short journey I would just put a little cucumber or favourite veggies in, it will keep piggies hydrated, they can have fresh hay once back home x
