So, it should be around the next 2 or 3 weeks I'll be getting my new Guinea pigs, and I will be carrying them in a cat carrier. But many places on the internet and books say you should not handle them for ''a day or two to let them get used to their new surroundings''. Well, this is my problem, how am I meant to put them in the hutch then?

The only other option other than picking them up myself is tilting them in; and I am NOT going to risk any injury, and I don't want the poor things to have a heart attack because they were on a Alton Towers Ride.

You'll be fine to just lift them out of the carrier into the hutch! Just don't handle them for a few days after so they can settle in. Alternatively you could just leave the carrier in the hutch and let them come out in their own time :) It's up to you :)

Thanks, I will just lift them out myself!
