At the moment my cage is a bit sparce from toys,
they tend to avoid gnawing things and just go for the cage instead no matter what I do!

At the moment I have a pear gnawing toy which hangs down, I have a had a simple gnawing with just attached to the side of the hutch which was never touched!
They seem to like the rope with the wooden blocks and I only have a ball which they like in there.

Does anyone know a good website to buy toys cheap because I'm tight on money at the moment but I would really like to buy them some toys, I find pets at home is quite pricey as well as jollyes!
Thanks
Francesca xx

Many toys can be home made and cost free!
You can tie a loo roll up with some string and have hay stuffed in the roll. There are quite a few other ideas too. Around the forum in previous topics.

Mine have never bothered with toys. Their favourite thing is paper bags with a bit of hay inside. They also like cardboard boxes, wooden cabins and tunnels. I do not buy toys as they just do not use them.

Maybe try willow balls or seagrass. There is a small bull rush ball in the woodlands brand section at P@H for £1 that maybe worth a try. Viovet have lots of cheap toys, my 2 love things with bells, viovet have smallcat balls with bells for like 40p that maybe worth a shot.

My girls love the bull rush ball from p@h, but I now only give my few toys to them under supervision for short play periods. All the other p@h toys are dangerous.

Hey,

I'm lucky my six are big nibblers and chew on most things they have wooden house which they strip the bark off and chew.

They LOVE willow and sea-grass balls, they have these daisy chains i got on-line which they have chewed big chunks out of!

You can also try cardboard boxes and tunnels or toilet roll tubes stuffed with hay or veg.

Mine avoid anything theyre meant to chew and like to go for the cage itself too. They do like gnawing on cardboard boxes though and I've turned a few bigger boxes into houses. I cut a doorway in the front and a window in the back that they like to leap through as well as chew on :)
