The 2 girls *** are indoor atm til better weather are swines 4 eating cardboard. So toilet rolls, cardboard houses, chubes have been tried and tested - a BIG NO NO ! they dont just nibble it , or chew and spit it out - they eat and digest . So to save them getting constipated i need a few ideas if poss for some toys for naughty piggys. The plastic igloos didnt work bcos even with 3 they argued over the same 1 lol . Any fleece / fleece beds also gets digested lol

Atm they are just having loadsa hay and hay treats ect. & i feel really guilty i cant think of more :(

So please if anyone has any non edible non cardboard/plastic/fleece toy ideas we would be very grateful x Thanks

Wow, destructo-piggies!

I'm thinking they may need the chewing for some reason, so maybe give them stuff that's safe to chew and eat? Mine like nibbling on their stick bridges and LOVE LOVE LOVE apple branches. Oxbow has hay tunnels and houses too that are made of just hay, so they would be safe for eating.

I think the hay experts have lots of edible toys!

While mine love their fleecy stuff and tunnels, I think they would be just as happy with just a humungous pile of hay. Don't feel guilty!

Can you swirl fruit juice in a saucer, drain the excess and let them explore/lick that? You can try different flavours at different times.

Apple twigs, untreated rose stems (minus thorns, obviously) or old dry bits of ornamental grass (provided it has no sharp edges) can be given to vent their destructive forces on.

I bought a willow house the other day from P@H, great for hiding in, running through (as has doorway at each end) an totally safe for them to eat :)
Also the log bridge things are great, and as someone else said, they do sell chubes that are made of safe forms of wood/hay so won't matter so much if they 'eat' rather than just nibble lol.
