Toys and getting piggies to play

What kinds of things do you put in the pigs cages? I have tunnels and boxes and knaw toys, but still the lazy little ...they don't play.

They run around and pop corn etc then eat and nap.

Some one suggested that I may be feeding them a lot. So I have gone back to the drawing board to check I am giving appropriate amounts of food.

But unless food is involved they won't play.mallethead

No guinea pigs don't tend to play unfortunately

They do love food though x

My girlies have a wooden tunnel thing from P@H that they have go under on top of and chew it..

they have a dangly thing with flowers & love heart(pink & purple) from p@H

they also have some cool beds & a slumber tunnel that they love running in and out of when they go hyper & pop corn around the cage lol!

i think that is a part of piggie fun! haha

I have a little wobble toy that has a bell in it that jingles. My Montgomery adores this. He picks it up in his teeth and throws it around the cage. He often gets rather amorous towards it as well. My other piggies dont seem to bother with toys much but Montgomery is a law unto himself. He also pushes his log around the room as though he is dribbling it..
