Can anyone recommend toys for my two guinea pigs. They live in a two tier indoor hutch and seem to chew the wood slope. So any tips to keep them entertained? I bought them some small wood chew sticks which they don't use and just seem to bury them under the sawdust. They are a small apple wood toy, not seen them use it. Today i bought them a large 3d carrot toy for them to try. Thank you in advance :)
 
Hi mine love a paper bag filled with hay and I cut a tube (like a toilet roll) down the middle and stuff that with dried forage that you get from pet shops. Boxes are good with holes cut in them.I think the cheap home made toys go down best.
 
Mine love tunnels. Either the tubes with hay on them or the bendy sticks wired together. I vary the shape every couple of days to keep them interested.

Yes cardboard boxes with some holes cut in them and paper bags filled with hay are also hits with ours.

If they are chewing a lot, maybe increase the "harder" veg you feed them?
 
They are not chewing a lot, they seemed to chew it one day and then nothing since but i want to make sure i keep them from chewing it.

Well keeping them otherwise occupied like you're looking to do would probably be my best idea too. Good luck.
