For my piggies bed i have layed a towl down and out loads of hay in there..
this wouldnt be harmful would it?

one of my girls keeps on getting in the middle of it where i have folded it in half! lol!

In the hay trays I use towels under the newspaper. Best of both worlds. Extra absorbency, less stink!

I use old tea towels, pillowcases & old teeshirts in the guineeas bedroom part of the hutch with newspapers underneath. I use fleeces in other parts of the hutch (2 storey rabbitshak RS201) They get changed at least once a day....they tend not to poop in their bedroom but in the corner the ramp goes down. I just shake the poos off the fleece there onto my plant pots.

I use newspaper, them 2-3 layers of towels with fleece on the top and only needs changing every 3-4 days! Fleece is always near enough dry and easy to shake the poo and hay off :)
