Towel for bedding?

Is it ok to give piggie a towel for inside bedding?

The problem with towels is they hold the wet on top and get soaked easily. Our special needs piggie is bedded on fleece with a towel underneath, the fleece wicks away the urine to the towel underneath but the fleece stays dry on top.

Fleece should always be washed without softner.

yeah, sport billy's right i'm afraid. Towels smell! Very quickly! You can use them in the very short term whilst you get a fleece and bed mat combo set up. Fleece stays bone dry and bed mats hold lots of wee without getting smelly.
