I have been researching fleece as a bedding option for my pigs. I am so confused as to what works the best. I want a comfortable, soft liner. I have read about Zorb fabric, mattress toppers, UHaul pads and fleece of course. Is there any benefit of layering a mattress topper, Zorb, UHaul pad and then fleece? Overkill? What would you suggest would be the best combo?

Yeah that sounds too much...
I just use a layer of old towels then a layer of fleece (with a layer of corex/coroplast underneath to stop leaking on to the carpet) and that works great for me.
I know others use different materials and sew things together, but for me the towels and fleece are much more simple and works well.
I think it's just a case of trial and error to see what works for you :)

I use puppy pads underneath my vet bed and fleece and they work perfectly, I buy them in big packs of 100 for about £10 and use 8 a week cleaning out my pigs. They absorb the urine really well and as they're disposable it means I don't have to fit towels and things in the washing machine. I have 4 pigs who pee a lot.
