too hot? too cold?

I worry about getting the temperature right for them. I feel that having central heating on might be too hot for them because of their fur coats. My problem is that I go between being too hot and too cold all the time, so I am constantly putting the heating on, then opening the window wide. What do you think?

might be worth investing in a digital thermometer. I have one in the garage that tranmits the temperature to my bedroom clock. So i always now if its too cold or too warm.
