Too hot inside 🥵

I am wondering what are you using to keep your piggies cool during days like these? In their bedroom currently there are 26°, so almost as hot as outside. It's in the shade, but unfortunately that doesn't make much of a difference. Can I give them frozen veggies to cool down? Can/will they chew on an ice cube? They have a frozen pad wrapped in a kitchen towel but they're not touching it...

You could freeze some bottles and wrap them in a towel or something. Some have used tiles. Also keeping the curtains closed and a hanging a wet towel on the window can sometimes help. Have a read of the guide I’ve linked to below as well.

Thanks for this, I imagine they will chew through the plastic bottles, will this affect them?

I give out boys ice packs and and ice pod which is from scratch and Newton.
I make fleece covers for them but they have no interest in chewing them they do lie or stand on them!

Mine have never chewed the bottles. I wrap them in a towel/face towel.
