Really want to make a C&C cage, but are these suitable?

Jess.

I don't think they are grids, the sides look solid plastic? Not sure, maybe someone else will know if they've purchased them?

I've just managed to get some grids from B & Q for £22.99 :)

It is really hard to tell. If they are plastic then you cannot get them. Maybe you should email and ask?

They are not the normal C&C grids. They're smaller and I think the centre is a plastic (not wire) so you may not be able to see through it. Wonder if they could chew it....maybe ....or maybe not if they cant get started on it...

Maybe someone else has used these....anyone ?

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone on here or on the C&C cage website that used them or something very similar. I don't see why you couldn't use them if you were having an open top. If not maybe just keep watching eBay they have some cheap ones on there every now and then.

I bought that, I think I got mine off E bay, I used to make a single storey C and C cage, my girls didn't chew it. They are plastic with no grid bits. You would need to get correx (I know you know that but let me explain) as the plastic is folded over a wire frame and can collect pee in them (lovely)

I didn't get on with a C and C, couldnt bear the mess but they worked as a frame and I now use them as run instead. They hold toegther well with the connectors and the long ones are tall enough that Guinea pigs can't climb over them

i will see if I can find a pic

xx

I bought these and sent them back, they arent suitable to be honest. They are made of thin plastic and very small. I bought my C&C grids from ebay, I got loads and connectors and 100pk of cable ties.
I'll try and find the link...

DO NOT BUY THESE!

I made the mistake of thinking they were the grid squares and bought a set.

Unfortunately the insides are made from a thin plastic and they are not metal grids at all.

I was able to send it back and get a refund but obviously had to pay for postage so a total waste of money :(
