Too cold?

Is it too cold to house two piggies out side now?

Biscuit has been living indoors since having his op mid September so has Daisy. They should have been outside bu now but their hutch refurb has been held up. I think it is too cold for them now but hubby thinks I'm being a bit overprotective. I would wrap the hutch up in blankets and tarp but I still think they wouldn't be able to handle it. What do you think? ?/

No we don't have a big enough one. We have two other hutches with piggies in. We have made a shelter from the rain and most of the wind by using tarp over a frame. I just worry that their coats haven't thickened up because they are used to living inside.

Not too cold at all as long as they have plenty bedding!

Their coats will not alter but they won't be acclimatised to the cold. We have indoor and outdoor pigs and I personally would not move pigs that have been in outside now as it was frosty last night.
