Has anyone got one of these?

I'm looking for one where you can programme in an address and then ask it to avoid motorways. Does this do that? Is it any good?

We have got a Tomtom one, its very good. :)

Bought it last year for my hubby as his job involved driving round the UK and it was invaluable to him.

I use it when I have to go anywhere now, its a life saver for me as I have no sense of direction at all. ;D

I still make mistakes but it always puts me back on track. The TT1 you can programme to avoid toll roads, not sure if it can block out motorways but will have a look later for you.

I would be careful about shopping for one on ebay as you could end up with a stolen one! :o

Definitely worth any driver having one I would say.

hmm true about a stolen one( so long as it comes with a suped up kickass car! ;) )

I don't have a tom tom, but I have a medion sat nav whcih is very similar, but a lot cheaper. I bought mine from aldi, for £180 almost a year ago, which was a great price. It allows for use in the car, walking or on a bike.

All sat navs should have the option to avoid motorways. Although I never use that, motorways are the best!

I use mine constantly all day every day for my job, couldn't live without it, they is nothing worse than having to read maps.

My grandad has one and it's really good. Not sure which one he has, but you can put in address/postcode and avoid motorways etc. It took us to SkinnyLover's house on saturday.. otherwise we'd probably still be looking for it now :P
