I have read on a few sites that you can toilet train piggies, if this is true can anyone give me any tips as I would like to give it a go.
Many thanks in advance

mine aren't truly toilet trained, they still poop everywhere but a lot of poops and most wees are in the litter trays I provide. Two are under cover. They have aubiose and hay, the other two are in the open. My pigs are very confident so use both. Saves me having to change all of the fleece all of the time. The water bottles hang over them too.

Are the litter trays the triangular plastic trays pet shops selling? What is aubiose? Thank you

Mine are 95% litter trained I'd say. I use fleece bedding and after a full 12 hours theres less than a handful of poos on the fleece. I use a cat litter tray and have their hay in that and in a box on the side of tge cage hanging over the tray. They do almost all their poos and wees in it. Sometimes there's a handful of poos in their one hidey house after morning veg, but otherwise pretty much everything is in the tray.

This is their litter tray. I also have a bit of a fleece forest over the top of it to help them feel safe. I'm till experiencing with absotbant layers in the box. Newspaper doesn't last long (I scattered hay on top), have tried fleece liner in it which did work quite well but ts a nightmare getting the hay off it. I currently have a piece of towel in it with a layer of hay on and that seems to be working ok.
