Dolly has had this big nail on one of her toes since I've got her, it's a thick nail, the vet has seen it over and said it's fine, it's probably just been broken before I got Dolly. Just now, it was pretty long so I asked my sister to trim it for me while I held Dolly, and it started bleeding?

I don't know if that happens or if it's a normal thing. It's never happened before when trimming that nail, me and my sister are both 100% sure she didn't nip the toe. Could this mean somethings wrong with the toe/nail?

Also, recommendations for styptic powder? I might as well get some at this point and I'm not sure which brands are good or if it's even safe if guinea pigs lick it off.

It looks like the quick has been cut (the nail has been cut too short). There is a blood vessel which runs in the nail and it’s important to not cut into that part. You can see it by shining a torch up through the nail.
It doesn’t look like it is bleeding from the nail bed/her toe itself.

Is it still bleeding? If so, you need to stop the bleeding. Any bleeding which lasts longer than 10-15 minutes needs to be seen by a vet
You can put cornflour on it to stop the bleeding if you don’t have styptic powder. You can get styptic powder from a pharmacy.
