So today I got my guinea pig Garfield out to put into his play pen as I went to put him down he got scared from a noise and jumped then one of his to nails started to bleed. Bleeding has not stoped but he is still lifting it up ever so often and licking if
 
If the bleeding hasnt stopped within half an hour and/or the toe is noticeably painful you should see the vet straight away, they can stop the bleeding for you and prescribe some pain relief. Torn nails bleed a lot and if the nail is still partly attached then the vet needs to take a look, maybe to remove the nail and stop the bleeding.
