Tobii is so strange..

When I rub Tobii's fur the wrong way on his back, he either purrs or chatters, and stratches out. Sometimes he yawns and kicks out his back legs, then falls asleep. But what is it? Does he like it?

hmmm you may be right,i remember when i very first started with piggies i didnt know if i could rub there hair/fur like that and each time i did they chattered at me and started to look grumpy,i have heard it a few times on here that they dislike it but in saying that Bandit will quite happily lay n his back and let me give him a light belly scratch and doesnt mind which way i rub the hair/fur xxxxxx
 
my pig humbug used to purr when i ruffled her fur
i've never heard of purring meaning anything other than they're happy so i'd assume your pig enjoys it; if they don't i'm pretty sure they'd either move or give you a nip, they wouldn't sit there and put up with it.
 
Sounds like Bandit is a very laid-back pig ;)

I think Tobii is doing what Humbug did. I hope he enjoys it, becuase it will be useful when I check him for mites and other little creepy-crawlies. I just treated him with Beaphar spot-on, so I'll have to re-treat him on Sunday (next Sunday)

If he chatters, he doesn't want you to do it, but other times he doesn't seem to be bothered, if he gets comfy and falls asleep...
