Good evening,
I have 3 Guinea pigs which at the moment are indoors until the weather is much warmer of an evening (Kent -2/0 temp at the moment) I understand they need to be inside until at least a constant temp of 15c of an evening but can I have tips for transitioning to outside please. My indoor cage is too big for the space I have. So once it’s warm they will be outside.
I have an outbuilding that has electricity so would that be ideal for transitioning into.
Thankyou

Hi, ideally you want to be transitioning them outside in late April / May time when we are no longer getting night frosts and it’s 15 degrees at night. However, if they are going in to a heated outbuilding, you may be able to do this a little sooner so long as it’s at least 15 degrees in the outbuilding. Will they be going in a hutch?
