Hi, I'm a new owner of 3 guinea pigs and they have been on Timothy hay from pets at home, however, I've noticed the quality has really gone down hill and they aren't interested in eating it. I've checked other local pet shops but it just doesn't seem nice! Looking online I'm getting really confused with the different types, coarse, soft, mixed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated by myself but also my little piggies.

3 girls. I did have a look at haybox but again its the different cuts that's confusing me (it doesn't take a lot 😆 )

Mine love the 50/50 boxes from haybox. They can then have a mix of soft meadow hay that they love to eat and sleep in, and the coarser timothy hay that they absolutely love! It just depends what your piggies like, but I highly recommend Hay Box as a good company with excellent quality hay. They deliver quickly too. If I put in an order, I usually get it two days later.

Thank you for taking time to reply. How long on average do the boxes last you? I've noticed they do trial boxes at Haybox so I'll maybe try one to see if it passes the taste test.

I get a 50/50 box from Nibble & Gnaw. My boys eat the first cut and live in the second cut. I have the monthly subscription box so I can't ever forget!

Never tried Haybox but have heard great things!

The coarse timothy from haybox is harder stems. My lot don’t like it.
The soft timothy is mostly leaves and my lot love it!
I buy 15kg of meadow and a 5kg box of the soft timothy. These last my five three weeks.

I went with Hay box and the piggies seem happy do far. Thank you again for taking the time to reply.
