If I have my dates correct, it will be a year tomorrow since Tim had his eye removed due to a retrobulbar abscess. Here's his original thread.

Dental - Tim - Dental Issues

He has done so well this last year, and it is all thanks to Simon Maddock and Debbie. Without them I would have taken advice to have him PTS and I can't even comprehend that thought. Every night as we dose off we hear him rumbling at poor Sophie and he never stopped doing that even when he was really poorly. Which showed us that we should never give up on him.

So proud of our little man.

Here are some photos from tonight.

He and Sophie looks so sweet together.
And it also goes to show the huge difference i makes usinga really guinea pig savvy vet.
Go Tim (and Helen, who I am assuming played some part in his recovery ;)) :yahoo:

Awww Tim  So pleased it all worked out. a testament to the amazing work of Debbie at TEAS and Simon and the dedication of yourself Helen x x

Really amazing story and so great that Tim has gone on to live his life - and plague Sophie!
Does also make me feel a little sick though because I am convinced one of mine has a hidden dental abscess waiting to emerge - will have to see what happens with him.

Thank you. I really hope your little one turns out not to have an abscess. Are you able to get to Simon if needed?
