I am now beginning the bonding of my newly neutered Willy..

The meetings at the moment are through bars as Willy will be 6 week post op on the 17th October. So right now I'm just getting them aquainted.

The first meeting didn't go brilliant. Willy did a lot of flirting which got no attention from Tilly, who thought she'd much rather charge around and wreck everything. Then when she eventually went up to see him she chattered and bit him on the nose.

I thought I would try again today.Willy wasn't so flirtacious and was fairly laid back, a little smooth rumbling up and down the bars. At first it was a bit tense as Tilly fluffed up and chatted and seemed a little too interested in his nose once again... but then... it sizzled down. Tilly had a sniff, realised what beautiful locks Willy has (had a nibble) then seemed very content.

So much so that after sharing some readigrass through the bars happily enough,

they both settled down ..

Fingers crossed for the potentially very happy couple.

Aww they are so cute together. I love the way they are lying side by side between the bars.

Awww so lovely to see Willy! Glad the op went well (haven't been on for a while) sending bonding vibes for the pair of them!

Well my nerves have certainly taken a bashing this evening.
Tilly is doing my head in mallethead
It's so hard not to interfere when she looks like she's gonna bite him! They're now in the cage together and things are going well (touch wood). The only time things get a bit iffy are if willy goes to mount her and she gets grumpy. But they seem very happy with company, especially willy who's popcorning every way possible and has fallen onto his side numerous times!

I believe we have success! Set my alarm for every two hours last night to check on them and all was fine. They shared their first breakfast together this morning :) she is so cheeky, she would come up to him real close, make him rumble then steal his food. She's been making lovely chicken noises this morning too.

I had the most perfect picture earlier but my camera died as I went to take it! They were both up at the side of the cage wanting treats. I got this one but there's no flash and its bad quality as on my phone.. :(

I got Willy out earlier, and flipped him over (do this routinely as he's long haired) and he had bits of poo in his fur and his bum was a little pooey. Not runny poo but poo that had just stayed there and dried. Do you think maybe he was too pre occupied with ladies to clean/eat his poo?

Willy has given up his favourite bed for Tilly :o

Aww Willy he so kind! Ehab often has bits of poop on him but I thought it was due to him being four and finding cleaning difficult.

Some piccys of the couple who are continuing to do well! Loving the company of eachother.

Aww how cute! I am so pleased they are friends. What are those basket of flowers?

They're fake, they're a chew toy boredom breaker thing. A wicker basket with papery flowers inside. [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rosewood-Boredom-Breaker-Activity-Hanging/dp/B008RBFQWG"]Rosewood Boredom Breaker Small Animal Activity Toy Floral Hanging Basket: Amazon.co.uk: Pet Supplies[/ame]

They've pulled a couple flowers off it already, cheekies.

That looks so cute in their cage. I thought Willy bought them for Tilly. ;)
