Piglet got separated from roger because roger kept giving him nasty bites. So now george and roger live together and piglet is on the other side of the divider, in the same c&c cage. For some reason piglet keeps grabbing his bowl and throwing it as soon as I fill it up with food. He eats the food off the ground mallethead! I decided that getting him a heavier bowl would solve the problem, but does anyone know why he's doing this? It really frustrates me.

Maybe don't put his food in a bowl and just give it to him on the cage floor?
My parents dog likes to carry her food dish around their house and it made a mess so now they just give her food on a big mat instead of in a bowl. I know completely different animal and all that.

Nutty kept doing that to me for nearly a week and now he's stopped. We put in different hand made toys because we thought he was bored and added herbs to the hay so he has sonething to forage for that isn't his breakfast!

one of mine kept tipping it over and laying inside of it while he ate. he wouldn't ever let the other one eat anything. i got tired of cleaning up pellets and such, so i got this big rabbit dish that he can't push over and hog. he hasn't managed to tip it, yet.

This isn't a guinea pig but our school rabbits hate there silver dish and refuse to have it in there hutch and as they have an attached run just pick it up and throw it outside,
My piggies have only ever accidentally knocked there dish over.
I think they just like to be interior designers !
