Tewdric
Teenage Guinea Pig
Three years ago today I brought young Brunel back from Windwhistle Warren after taking Telford boar dating there.
The first night at home
Exploring the big wild world!
We sadly lost Telford to cancer in August 2015. We tried boar dating Brunel at Windwhistle Warren, but he beat up 5 other males and so as he was obviously miserable on his own we had him neutered.
Here he is, a couple of weeks after the operation enjoying an evening on the sofa with his humas.
Back to Windwhistle again, this time he was rejected by the first girl he met, but he found a firm (if mad) friend in Lilith.
Here are the pair of them in their Christmas 2015 photoshoot.
Fast forward to September 2016 and after a house move which gave us a bigger garden and a shed we adopted two six week old girls from the Blue Cross. Brunel has been very patient and has enjoyed being the boss of his own little herd.
Finally - I actually managed to catch all four of them more or less in the same frame during their Christmas 2016 photo shoot.
Brunel continues to enjoy himself as patriach - although there are times when the 'zoomies' all get a bit too much and a quick cuddle and a groom with his humans is very welcome.
He's a great character, here's to his future!
