:... eddie just wouldn't leave her alone. at first i thought she was in season and that was why, but it wasn't. he was just nudging her skirt over and over... which she hates! she warned him and warned him and he just wouldn't listen, then was all in her face! :o

she went soooo mad and shouted so loudly at him!

i got them both out and sat them with me on the settee for some time out! eddie seemed really hot and stressed. anyway, managed to cool him down and took some pics of them, had a cuddle etc.

when they went back in the cage they were absolutely fine. ?/ no idea what that was all about but when i checked again, they were nuzzling faces! :{ and have been happy since.

Awww sounds like he was being a typical hot tempered boy who wanted to take it out on his better half. Sometimes there is absolutely no rhime or reason to a tiff, and like you I have seperated and given some cooling off time and then all is well. The worst for me is when they have been properly spooked and when nothing has happened, lots of cuddles and time out eventually sorts that.

Definately one of those things, for me it's an excuse to have lots and lots of cuddles and shoulder ear snuffling by buttercup.

Sometimes adult piggies can have hormonal spikes. Thankfully, this doesn't happen often and they are usually perfectly OK again once you have let them cool down a bit!

thanks. they're both still fine. eddie just seemed all hot and stressed. i really think maisie would have gone for him though if it had carried on any longer! :...

i loved having them sat with me on the settee though. both just lay there eating hay and being stroked. lots of purring.

Crazy Eddie! Glad it has settled down it's horrible to see them bickering isn't it... Sometimes we have to distract Sassy and Vimto when they are pestering each other.
