Those of you with hutches and covers

I am just wondering if people who have plastic wind and rain covers over their hutches pull the plastic flaps down over night or leave them open?

I pull it down at night unless its really hot, and leave it open all day unless it rains. I try to leave it open as much as possible so they get more air in their hutches but I think of closing their hutch covers as tucking them into bed

I have been pulling the flaps down at night as I like the idea of 'tucking them up'. The fleece will be going back on when it gets to Autumn

Our hutch has a new cover but I'll only pull the flap down if it's wet until the weather turns.

They have fleece blankets over the hutch which we pop over them at night though

Also, in the day if its hot I put a piece of wet fleece over the front of the hutch instead of the flap bit, because it shades them and also keeps them cool

Mine isn't on the hutch during the summer, but during October - April, the flaps are down during the night.
