I'm so sorry to hear about Thomas. I hope he starts feeling better from his bloat soon and eats his syringe food like a good boy. Look after yourself too, looking after a sick piggy is so exhausting.

I really hope Thomas perks up soon. Sending healing vibes and a hug for you 🤗

I'm so sorry about Thomas, I hope he rallies around and has some more comfortable time with you

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope he can pull through x

Louise managed to get through with Recovery food and regular emeprid at 1 mg per kg of pig (so 1.36ml of 1mg/ml solution each time as she's 1.36kg). She objected to the first 0.5ml of Recovery each time but then seemed to suddenly change her mind and ate about 6 or 7ml per go. I don't know whether that was the effect of the emeprid (which she had first) or if she was initially just a bit disgusted with what was happening. She also had twice daily metacam (4 units each time). It took her a few days to go down completely although I never heard any gas passing. But Louise doesn't have any underlying conditions as far as I know.

I don't know that my electric toothbrush massage technique was up to much but she liked a not-very-hot water bottle on my lap with a folded fleece on top... she sprawled flat on it and let me toothbrush her sides and tummy beneath the fleece. I was surprised as she's normally not a cuddly girl and hates brushing or hair trimming so I thought I'd have a fight, but either it was soothing or she just couldn't be bothered to argue.

So sorry that Thomas is sick. Hope he still has some happy piggy days left with you.❤️

Thinking of you and sending big hugs.
