Hi

I've got a hutch i would like you to look at and let me know if you think it's okay for Guinea Pigs. Currently it's in these sizes, 4ft x 2ft x 2ft, 6ft x 2ft x 2ft and 6ft x 3ft x 3ft.

Any feedback good or bad be great, thanks.

I think it looks fine. The bigger the better obviously. The only thing I noticed was I think I would like there to be a bolt on the bottom of the doors too. :)

Ahh yes sorry, left a photo out, this is one treated and with a rabbit in:

That looks a lovely hutch. Go for as big as you can afford a 6 foot one is obviously preferable. I would also get one with much longer legs so it's higher off the ground & with a section inside to partially close off the bedroom area, with a gap giving the piggies access as that would keep them warmer in winter. It gives them somewhere to retreat to & feel safe if the weather is poor.If you can put it in a shed in bad weather that would be good too :)

Thanks for the advice, i should have i said that i make these to sell, i don't have any Guinea Pigs, but am looking to improve the housing for both Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.

How high would you want the legs, those legs are 1.31FT off the ground?
I will now offer a divider for Guinea Pig hutches to create a warmer place, also as options i can add levels in that closed area.

The hutch is designed to be left outside; i do intend to sell "indoor" hutches for sheds and houses. The above hutch has a shutter that can be used and will look at creating something to protect the roof from snow more than rain.

Hello,

Just wondering if you can make a double tier hutch and what your prices would be?

The hutch looks fab!

Just so you know, i never came here to sell, just for advice on the hutch.
I'm after something thats 5ft long by 3ft

For one like the photo with out the cream colour or stand, as stands are extras, a 5ft x 4ft x 3ft hutch would be £285. It includes a ramp with a side on, two timber doors and two mesh doors.

Due to your location it would need to be sent by a courier so i can not give you a price for delivery right now.

To make it cheaper, could use plywood instead of cladding. for the side, doors and back.
