thinking of vet bed

in my indoor run the main bit is covered with bed sheets,they dont really poo or pee on this too much,then inside the run the cage which is always open has hay as bedding.now I'm thinking about vetbed for the main run,i know it has the bottom layer but do you need to put anything under the vet bed to protect the carpet etc ? thanks

Yes i would because i have puppy trainer pads underneath and they do have stains on them.

i put loads of newspaper under mine and change it everyother day

You could try a £2 shower curtain..thats what i use in the run with fleece on top

And you can use the vet bed on top too.
