I have extended one of my C&C's a bit and added some grids to separate the hay and food area. I'm hoping this will minimise the amount of hay that gets stuck in the vetbed/fleece. Think this will work?

Can I be a piggie at your house?

That looks a fab set-up, but I bet it doesn't stay that tidy looking for long!

Where are you piggies at the mo? I'd love to see them when they're first back in there.. I bet they popcorn like mad!:)

Looks like it should prevent the majority of the hay spreading! I love your setup.

Seems to be working...woohoo! :<>

I have 7 piggies in this cage so lots of mess from the hay as you can imagine so here's hoping this calms down the mess a bit.

My other C&C (which has 3 piggies in) has a ramp so they have a hay loft which cuts down on the mess on bottom floor but couldnt have a ramp in the bigger cage as the piggies in this one wont use it (the other 3 are used to using a ramp)

Good luck - they are very pampered pets!

Perhaps you can teach the girls to brush the fleece? If yes, please tell me!

lol - you'd be the envy of every piggie owner!

Wow, that is an amazing set up. I'm so jealous! Hope it helps reduce the mess. Our house seems to get covered in hay and my girls don't even live indoors!

great set up, hope it works they can be messy little devils.:)):)):))

That looks like a very happy tribe. How does the separated hay area work?

And don't excuse yorself about the poos - we've been all there with at least ten more in the time it took us to pick up the others...
