This morning I went to the cage for a cuddle, although Teddy, the little rascal, doesn't like being picked up and runs for the hills, he let me hug him for quite a bit, I had Toffee alongside him against my chest stroking them both and they kept still until Toffee kept looking back at the cage as if to say, can I go back now? :(|)

I had my hand in the cage with grapes on it and although they didn't take them, they didn't run away either.

THEN I came back not long after and was talking to them, Teddy was having none of it, he is always hiding behind Toffee, but Toffee was looking at me like he was listening. :)

Toffee was making little noises when I was stroking him, hope it was a happy noise! It was just like a few really quiet squeaks, not purring or anything.

Great progress! :)) They are sure happy sounds.

Mine try to go back to their cage if I put them in my hall :)) They jump up the stairs and into their cage !

No, your boy is comfy when cuddled. Most guinea pigs are never really happy with being picked up - it cuts too close to their deepest instincts of being snatched by a predator.

But they are coming along nicely.

My piggy nibbles me when I pick him up, If I am moving from his cage to my couch he will nibble! I take that as a clear sign he doesn't like being up to high! I now have a wee basket for him to be moved in... Also he Nibbles when he's fed up, But it's not sore atall! :)p

Me wuv my piggy x), Can't wait for my new arrival!

Guinea pigs do like being picked up and held, preferably sat on your lap. Most will curl up and fall asleep, sometimes for more than an hour, of course whilst they are doing that it gives you chance for a rest!
