They look great! how did you work it out or did you use patterns?

:)

The first pic i made up after seeing a dog bed that was way too big for my cage so i made it smaller and the rest i found pattern's on the german site and an american guinea pig forum some pattern's i adjusted each thing probably cost a pound ish to make and they don't chew these but they do the nylon shop bought one's. They love the tent's and so do my sister-in-law's guinea's and my neighbour's

Wow! You've been busy! They look great :)

I have the same stripey fleece for my pigs too :)

I got it from sainsbury's. Most thing's on there don't take long it's mainly measuring and cutting take's time, and all the piggie's pee and poo on it so I guess they like it well enough

wow very clever

when I bought my girls I was told that they do not need anything like that. now I feel bad as seeing so many things in this forum that has made me realise that the shop that sold them to me doesnt really know much!

I kept guinea's before and they were just in a small hutch they had veggie's once or twica a week as a treat (I didn't know they needed it) they had no toy's just one chewing block and I didn't know they ate hay! Now I know so look after them much better, you can ask at carpet shop's for tube's and cut them down for them or wilkinson's do the large chube for £1.50 and making thing's is cheap and they love them just the same.

Well done they look fab looks like you've had a very busy day indeed :)

wow the cage liners look amazing, what materials did you use and do you have the patterns for them?

you need mattress pad from argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/1274574/Trail/searchtext>MATTRESS+TOPPER.htm
It has to have 100% cotton top and if you cut it the right way you will get 2 2X4 size pads

lay your fleece out and place topper on it Cotton side down, cut round fleece leaving enough to make a seam 1 inch if your bad at it less if your good. fold seam on to pad and pin in place then sew all round watching it don't bunch up,

then you need to do the side's measure the height of your sides x it by 2 and add 2 inche's thats how wide you want it then measure the length of each side and cut strips to fit your measurements. sew the ends together so it looks like bunting for a cot pin the sewn line's to the corners then pin around. sew all the way round re-inforce corners

and thats it! place in tray fold excess fabric underneath (you can elasticate corners )

Which one's? the stripey was £2.00 from sainsbury's the flower (pink/purple) and tiger print £2.03 each the online garden centre plain one's from dunelm mill's £3.00 for a 1.5 by 2metre in six colour's (summer fleece throw) they are £3.99 now actually, but look on ebay they have some cheap on there from "2.50 a metre and primark if you can get to one

the orange and tiger print snuggles look fantastic, well done.

Lucky you it was corby they have ribbed ,green spotted a pink or red printed one and leopard print. Sainsbury's in bretton don't have any at the moment.

I didn't get any when i was there today, i have far too many anyway but nothing really caught my attention. The only one i liked was a cream and red one with hearts, it was cute but my girls don't need anymore! :)
