Thick Cage Bars?

I'm building a new hutch for outdoors so I am sourcing materials, but I'm struggling to find suitable cage bars. Their current, shop-bought hutches have the thick black bars (like this) but I can only find the thinner, mesh-like stuff.

Does anyone know where I could get something more solid?

I had my hutch built and the mesh is horrible. Can't fuss my boys through the bars like their old one. I would love to know where to get other ones from. Let me know if someone knows lol
 
I have that hutch - the bars are similar to those you get on those collapsible pet cages, or those folding runs/fire guards - maybe you could pick one up at a car boot or charity shop or a cheap bargain on ebay/amazon an then cut out the panels you need? :)
