hi guys
I'm new to this forum , I purchased a pair of boars from pets at home they are both around 13/14 weeks old , they live inside at the moment I change their bedding everyday they have plenty of space and their own space when they need it. However this evening they had a little tiff which has never happened before I have put a divide in the cage for now as my son got upset when they started fighting. I worry that a divide may not be the right thing to do. Also I have read that bathing may be help, what do I need to bath a Guinea pig I have never done this before.
Many thanks Gemma

Hi and welcome!
As long as things are not yet serious and close to a full-on fight, please leave them together! Your boys are now coming to the begin of the teenage pahse, which is characterised by hormonal spikes. During this time it will prove whether unmatched babies are actually compatible in their adult identities. it is not going to be an easy time.

This link here discusses all the issues in detail:

As we have members from all over the world, could you please add your country or UK county, so we can help you with local tips in the coming time as much as possible.

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum.
As Wiebke has said, they are at that teenage hormonal stage and need to sort out who's in charge. As long as they haven't gone into full blown fight mode it's best to leave them to sort it out for themselves if possible. Obviously if it escalates then you may have to step in but as long as it's just a tiff I'd leave them well alone.
