Ok, well I have been promising and promising to put up pictures of the girls and their house. The pics aren't fantastic but hopefully give a good idea of their set up .... 2 Rabbit 140s connected by a pice of soil pipe. It gives them a living space of approximately 9ft x 2ft. They are in the conservatory at the moment, which has a radiator in it to keep the chill off it but will be going outside during the warm weather (during the day time at least).

to give you an idea of size, the wooden house that OH made is 1ft x 1ft. They are on fleece with inco pads and it is great!

Well done to you and your OH that looks fab and i can see that you have four very spoilt piggys! :))

Gorgeous piggys too. x)

Fantastic set up. How did you cut the circle for the pipe? ?/

Apparently (!) he marked out the circle and then drilled lots lots of 3mm holes around the outside of the hole and then pushed the circle out and filed the edge until it was smooth. He did it all very carefully so that the base didn't crack. Then we pushed the piece of soil pipe through. It is a very snug fit so we didn't need to glue it in or anything. If the girls get too big for it we shall get a bigger piece of pipe and make a bigger hole! We got the soil pipe from Wickes.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I must admit I am really pleased with the set up. I decided this was the way to do it one night when I couldn't sleep. The girls are a joy to have. Willow seems to have no fear and follows me everywhere when I am pottering in the cage and doing the daily poo pick etc. They are growing fast and getting much tamer. They adore their hay box and jump over my hands when I put it back in after the daily clean out. This forum has been brilliant for ideas such as the cat litter tray for the hay, fleece and inco pads. I only wish my boys had benefited from such a set up
