So I bought a 120 ferplast double for my three girls thet wasted it and never went upstairs. It started to bend and now one of the supports is bent do amazon have agreed to take it back thankfully.

Only problem is I have three pigs downstairs and one upstairs (with hole covered. The courier is coming tomorrow and ive got to try pack it somehow when I dont have a box :(

I'm replacing it with a c an c tower but my grid s arrive tomorrow. Its all very stressful but they are worth it. If they knew what they put us through they would be eternally grateful.

You could always put a fleece or something in the bottom of the bath and put the three in till cage constructed and maybe a box for the other one.Any plans to get the single a friend

Yes I have 8 guineas at present they are all In varing stages of bonding. I have currently a group of three girls a group of 2 girls and three single boys. Rupert has been neutered and was ready yesterday at 6 weeks post op. I was at work yesterday and today so I am waiting for tomorrow when I have all day to do the intros he is going with one of my girl groups.

I have two intact males but cannot attempt bonding yet as I only pick ed up joshy yesterday from gumtree so I am currently quarenting him. After 2 weeks he will be attempted to be bonded with my other boy. If that doesnt work joshy will be neutered to go with other girl group.

My other boy is too young for an op so he would have to wait or ill go boar dating...

its all a bit up in air till I know who gets on with who

Ha ha, I am on my 5th cage in 3 years & I only have 2 boy piggies. The first was too small as baby Hazelnut grew. The 2nd was too small when he got his friend Peanut Butter. The 3rd was great for the pigs but not so great for my back when I had to clean it. But as the boys were happy in it I persevered with it until it just became too much for me physically. The 4th was great for the pigs but once again proved to be a cleaning nightmare. I realised I had to try & get one that I could put on a table & off the floor but I still wanted it to be as big as possible for them. I finally found a 1metre x 1 metre from a UK supplier willing to ship to OZ (the freight charge was as much as the price of the cage), then I bought two 120 x 60 oak tables that could be put together to hold the cage. At least I got a bargain there by asking for a discount at the furniture shop. I think we are now at an end with cages. The boys come out more often to interact with me as they are at eye level when I am sat at the computer (they live in my computer room). Cleaning is a breeze, the tables each had 2 drawers for storing items in & the hay bin plus the pooch food & water dishes all fit nicely underneath. The total cost of this latest setup? I'm not going to tell you because friends & family already think I'm mad with the amount of money I spend on these boys. But I quit smoking 4 years ago & tell everybody the money is going to a better cause!

What do you use as a hay bin?
I use the large size corner litter trays, one in each corner for each boy, like the one in this link. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rabbit-G...154684?pt=AU_Pet_Supplies&hash=item3a89ed9fbc I'm sure they have similar in the UK.

They were a failed attempt at toilet training. I bought one & put it in the corner along with some litter & poops. They decided it was a great place to curl up & sleep in, so then there were the disagreements over who got to use it when. And the pooping & weeing continued everywhere in the cage as usual. I watched Peanut Butter waddle over to the corner tray dropping poops as he went along, only to get in the tray & fall asleep.

So, I bought a 2nd one and decided to use them as hay trays which has worked out great for that as they can climb right in & wallow in the hay. I find the occasional poop in there but never any urine. They definitely use it for hay munching only.
