this is the first stages of my hutch. my oh is building it for me - it keeps him busy;);)
the hutch is 8' wide - this is the very first stage



there will be three hutches built into this. the bottom level will house blossom and her three baby girls (her 2 boys have gone to my uncles to live)
the top will be split into two and will house molly and pippa on one side and woody and beau on the other side. i will be adding a second level with a ramp to each one at a later date. for now they will have their sleeping compartments

It's great building your own houses for them - all worth it when you see the finished product :(|)
Can predict some very happy piggies living in that mansion xx>>>
 
this is the first hutch he has built. he has built runs in the past for me and then had people on our estate approach him to build runs for them. he is a builder so more used to bricks than wood:)) but he is doing a lovely job of this. maybe he can sell some of these to the people that had the runs:):) with the way the building trade is it all helps. he said it will be finished tomorrow - i can't wait
 
It's lovely! I'm lazy and bought my 8ft hutch, will be buying another this Summer, just for expansion purposes as I have enough piggies already. Can't wait to see photos of this when it's finished.

Wow it looks fab! My dad built my rabbit hutch when I was 14... I doodled my dream hutch with all the different rooms and a run upstairs and he built it from that! It was amazing and my rabbit must've loved it too... she lived 11 years! We've now converted it to a luxury heated garden apartment for the tortoise to shelter in when he's outside. :))

Cant wait to see pics of your piggies moving in! x)
 
another step further with the hutch!

this is the next stage of my new hutch. there is still a bit of work to do. the bottom has to have the doors and they all need the second level and ramp added. other little bits and pieces need doing but that won't take too long. molly and pippa are quite comfortable in their hutch (on the left), and the babies are on the right at the moment. once blossom is better and can go back to them they will all go in the larger bottom hutch (hopefully). then once woody has been neutered on tuesday and had his 6 weeks waiting time, he will move into the upper right hutch with beau.
