Flutterby
Anniversary Herd
I wanted to make this, so that everyone could show off their much loved canine companions! Every doggy is welcome here, no matter the size! Let us see some pictures, their history etc.
Here are my 6 Chihuahuas.
LTR: Riff-Raff, Pandora, Sprout, Pirate, Jazz and Harlequin.
Pi (Pirate), out first every Chihuahua. We weren't chihuahua people until we were given Pi by my sister as a puppy. Totally turned us into Chihuahua people. He's 2 and half years old, friendlier than friendly, loves people and other dogs, sassy and thinks he's king!
Quin (Harlequin) came to use last November as a rehome from another lady. She's 4 years old and very much a cuddle bug, loves people, quite the little lady but not a diva in any way! She's the smallest of our pack, but definitely mighty at the same time!
Riffy (Riff-Raff) came to us Christmas 2020 at 8 weeks old, and is an absolute hooligan, in the best way possible. He's nervous of other people and dogs and will bark a lot, but no nastiness in him. When he gets to know you he is a lovable goof who makes you laugh every single day! He loves zoomies, toys, climbing and pretending to be a meerkat crossed with a goat!
Panda (Pandora) came to us 2 months after Pirate, at the age of 4 months old. She was a rehome from someone who had got bored of her and had been abused by her 2 toddlers. She was terrified of everything, but now is a outgoing and confident little lady. She still doesn't like children/toddlers, but there is no nastiness in her at all. She lives for her food and belly rubs!
Jazz (and her son Sprout, below) came to us 3 months ago. After being passed around from pillar to post they ended up with no home to call their own. I took them in as fosters while they were assessed etc, but they slotted right into my herd and now call it their permanent home. Jazz is very loving, lazy, but loves a walk and a play with her toys. She's laid back and nothing much fazes her. She's 6 years old and in the past has had 5 litters of puppies! Sprout is her son.
Little Sprout came to us with his mum, story above. He's a nervous little lad, the first night he was here he spent the whole night hidden under the dining table. He has no confidence, but he's coming on slowly. He has gastric issues which are under the vet and he's struggling with his weight but we will get there. His character is coming out and he's turning into a love bug. His favourite spot is under any blanket were it's cosy, and he's slowly learning what toys are and what to do with them.
That concludes my little pack for now
