The Shed is a success (construction photos!)

Wayhay! :)) Finally after six hours the shed is up and standing strong, I even managed to do all the pilot holes for the shed and cut the felt woo :))

Tonight we've had a quick drive to B+Q and picked up two packs of bright pink lino tiles (which I'm sure the boys will be more than happy about!), a flowery door handle and some locks which my OH and I will fit tomorrow after uni and I'll upload photos of the finished product! :)

This is how it all started, a very scary sight indeed:

Wazzle tried and tested the floor boards to make sure they were all secure:

And I made a good job of attaching the beams to the floor:

It's been a very productive day indeed :) Will upload the complete shed photos tomorrow after we both have a very long lie down! (And a few well deserved biscuits!) :))

Thank you! It was so simple to put up once you knew what goes where and which bits and bobs to use, hehe that cat is cheeky! He's our neighbours but likes to live out ours...i thinks its cupboard love though! :(|)

Haha! That was one well deserved tea break my arms were aching after holding all the panels together after what seemed an age! :)
 
Is Wazzle a boy or a girl? (we LOVE them in this house)

Wazzle is a girl her name is actually tara but we call her taz for short then taz becomes waz...and waz wazzle! :)) I just love cross breeds/ Heinz 59's they are just all too cute! :)) We got her from the RSPCA she was badly abused and had puppies before she came to us and over the years she's really come out of her shell an absoloutly lovely dog x)
 
Gorgeous dog and cat and well done on building the shed, I would not have had a clue.
 
I wish that I could do the sort of jobs that you are so good at. I am always waiting for my husband to help, so the jobs that I need help with never seem to get done.

Haha they did try to help, as you know cuddles are always important during drilling! :) hehe!

Haha! I'd love to see photos of your snazzy new shed too... When we get a bigger place in the not to distant future, we plan to get a much bigger shed..possibly with real windows! And of course to get the company to come out and put it up :p
 
I'll definitely put up pics :) The buns hutch is in ours atm but it's falling to pieces :( So I convinced OH that we can convert half the space into a home for the buns instead of having them in the hutch ;)

Just seen the pics of your girlifying & prettifying :)) I love the door handle!
 
The shed looks fab - love the assortment of cats and dogs (looks like they're 'project managing' the build) :))

Ooo thank you, I'm nosey at heart and love to see how people customise their sheds and its lovely to see how people can convert their sheds into a giant hutch for their buns or piggies and really make use of the space, I'm sure you bunnys will be over the moon at their lovely new bedroom! :))

Haha! I think they were trying but getting more in the way than anything else! :) Wazzle tried to be helpful and bring us her ball...
